Positively Ignatian: Positive Education through an Ignatian Lens (PETIL)
Positively Ignatian is our whole school approach to wellbeing where Positive Education and Ignatian Spirituality come together to foster a community of people who flourish through meaningful, purposeful and positive action.
The Positively Ignatian framework underpins the importance of wellbeing through young people’s spiritual, cognitive, physical, emotional and social growth. As such, we draw from the following frameworks to develop the whole person
- Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm
- Ignatian Pupil Profiler
- Positive Psychology
- 24 Character Strengths & Virtues
- Restorative Practices
Explicitly we teach (PETIL) through our Personal Development Program drawing from the *PERMAH pillars of Positive Psychology.
Implicitly this is demonstrated in the language and behaviours we exhibit in all that we do as a College community and is reflected through our policies and procedures.
