While many were enjoying a break, Loyola students were busy showcasing their skills, spirit, and teamwork at two exciting JACSA events over the school holidays.
Our Loyola girls travelled to Adelaide for the annual JACSA Girls Sports Carnival, competing against St Ignatius College, Athelstone. After two days of fierce competition, the final result was a tie - with joint winners announced! Special congratulations to our award recipients: Georgia Fakhry - Soccer MVP, Brydie Hutchinson & Marlo Johnson - Volleyball MVPs, and Isla Whitford - Spirit Award
Meanwhile, we proudly welcomed students from across the Jesuit and Companion School network to Loyola College for the 2025 JACSA Debating Carnival. Over two days, powerful voices were heard as students engaged in spirited debate, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Well done to all students involved - you’ve represented Loyola with pride!
These events are part of the broader Jesuit and Companion Schools Australia (JACSA) network, which brings together schools inspired by Ignatian values. Through programs like these, students from across the country have the opportunity to connect, grow in leadership, and deepen their understanding of service, justice, and community.
