Europe Awaits!

We're excited to announce that our very own Simon Adi-Purnomo (11/AAAM) and Mr. Adam Calderone (Deputy Principal - Ignatian Mission & Identity) have been selected to take part in the 2025 Australian Catholic University School Leaders Program, providing leadership formation for Catholic school leaders through a three-week overseas immersion in the Catholic tradition and Western civilisation.

As part of the program (which takes place this November) they will spend time in both Rome and London undertaking tuition in Church history and the foundations of Catholicism.

The program focusses on some of the major themes in the Church’s history and the development of the West. It aims to deepen participants’ reflections on their own faith, and to sharpen their intellectual curiosity about the traditions to which they belong, as a foundation for their own leadership and service after school.
The themes of each teaching session are explored through assigned readings and visits to significant sites related to them. Students are supported by the teachers in their engagement with the program’s themes and readings, and have regular opportunities to reflect on what they are learning.

The 2025 program will be conducted from 16 November to 6 December (departing Australia 15 November and returning home on 7 December) with two weeks in Rome and one week in London.

Congratulations Simon and Adam!
