2022 - Present
Can you tell us a little about your role at Loyola College?

I started at Loyola College in 2022 and my role involves supporting daily operations at our school, focusing on items such as compliance, maintenance requests, repairs, supporting the planning and operation of community events, attending regular Committee Group Meetings (OH&S, Operations, Sustainability etc), liaising with external contractors and leading our Grounds and Maintenance Team.

What does a normal day at Loyola College look like in your role?

Days are varied but often include opening the college grounds in the morning, checking that all facilities are safe and sound for the impending staff and student arrival, liaising with our Maintenance Team regarding their daily tasks and work tickets and then monitoring additional requests that arise throughout the day before delegating new requests to the appropriate team for action.

What do you enjoy most about your work at Loyola College?

The positive and professional colleagues in our workplace. All Staff at Loyola College have a friendly, 'can-do' attitude and approach each day with positivity.

I love that our staff and our system thrives on one common goal - doing whatever we can to ensure our students have a great, positive experience at school.

What is something people may not know about you that you would like to share?

Outside of Loyola College I am a founding member of a Classic Car and Motorcycle Club that has over 300 members nationwide. My role in the club is to organise and authorise Car Shows and events and to liaise with the various charity groups that the club supports.
