Making decisions about future career development is exciting, but can also be confusing, stressful and difficult for some young people. Loyola College aims to help smooth this path by providing assistance to students to think through possible pathways, to gather information, and to prepare and implement relevant action plans for their career development.
At Loyola, career development assistance has a strong focus in Year 10 with work experience, career interest assessments, counselling and a structured subject selection process. These are built upon in the Senior years.
Career advice and a well-stocked and up-to-date Careers Centre in the Student Services area are also available to all students and families.
